About Us

Our business started in 1963 when two gentleman began making screen printed patches in the basement of their homes. The simple screen designs were cut out by hand, silk screened onto felt, and then each patch was hand cut. The first patches were for a YMCA youth program in which both dad's were involved. From this modest beginning, The Patch Store grew into a small but efficient, expert manufacturer of all types of patches using the latest technologies and machinery.  While we still handle small quantity orders that other company's reject, we are also geared to produce orders in the multi thousands.

Our offices, originally in a suburb Chicago, relocated to Utah when the founder's sons, Brain and Greg, retired in May of 2026.  Both Brian and Greg are pleased to help the new owner, Colleen, transition the business ensuring excellent customer service going forward.
